Watercolor Block technique Thanks cards

Good morning readers! Today I am playing around with a new (to me) technique.  This is a super easy one and super fun.  You simply add color to an acrylic block and spritz with water.  The secret seems to be to put something heavy on top of the block and letting is settle for just the right amount of time (about 5 minutes).  I let some settle too long and the they had dried too much already and brought up some paper with the block.  On the versions I didn't wait long enough there were more puddles of color and more white space.

I fussy cut a couple of the cards in the shape of the block.  One card I die cut some layers.

I played with several different colors of ink.

Ingredients:
Spellbinders Phrases One (Thanks)
Our Daily Bread Designs Stitched Rectangle dies (one card)
Distress inks: Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves  and Wilted Violet
acrylic blocks and water spritzer
Creative Memories punches (hearts and stars)

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Thank you so much for stopping by!
